Pitched Self Releasing Canopy:
is a pitched design constructed by a cable grid system sitting on steel posts, covered with hail guard. The bungee cords we use allow the netting to open and release any build-up of hail.
This system is suitable for areas where netting may need rolling up in winter and is easy for growers to manage and work with.
When choosing the right netting structure and design it is important to consider the right structure whether it be flat or pitched. Other considerations are shade factors, wind protection, canopy height, vertical or angled side cloth, internal post layout, retraction in winter, bird & bat protection and insect and fruit fly protection.
